Replacements and Lithium-Ion Maintenance Tips
Hey, here at the Hog we want to make sure that your tools have to power to finish your projects. I've been so frustrated when I get ready for a project, charge my tool's batteries all night, and begin only to have the battery die after a few minutes. Oh, the humanity!
Let's do some planning ahead. Get a fresh set of batteries to prevent wasted time.
Most Milwaukee tools require Lithium-Ion batteries. Get the most out of your new set with these quick and practical tips.
1. If you are storing your batteries for a long period of time, keep them at about 40% charged.
2. Don't run the battery to 0% before charging. At first signs of decreased power, swap out the battery. Allow the battery to cool before charging.
3. Avoid extreme temperatures.
4. Because most chargers are designed to charge only batteries that require it, it is ok to leave your battery in the charger.
After you have purchased your new set of power for you tools, consider recycling your batteries. Call 1800-8-BATTERY for disposal options.
